Does this work with the free version of Claude?

Claude.ai and Claude Desktop connect to Crispy via custom connectors; availability depends on your Claude plan (check Anthropic's current plan limits). Claude Code requires a subscription. The Crispy MCP server is $49/seat/mo.

Do I need an API key for Claude.ai or Claude Desktop?

No. Claude.ai and Claude Desktop both use OAuth via the Connectors settings, so you just authorize the connection with your Crispy account. Claude Code works either way: OAuth (run the add command without a header and approve in your browser) or an API key from your Crispy dashboard.

What's the difference between Claude Desktop, Claude Code, and Claude.ai?

Claude Desktop is the desktop app for macOS/Windows. Claude Code is the CLI for coding. Claude.ai is the web interface. All three support MCP and all three work with Crispy's LinkedIn tools.
